About Me

My name is Wallace Ooi Yi and I am a student from Mutli Media University. I am a student from Mutli Media University and I am studying Diploma Business Adminstrition. This October will be my last semester and I have learnt a lot about business in the two years of my Diploma. This will be very helpful for my future.

My personal Brand and Skills set

During my previous role in sales, I gained invaluable experience in understanding both the professional and personal needs of my clients. This logistics role required me to delve deeply into their industries, operations, and preferences, allowing me to tailor solutions that genuinely addressed their unique challenges. My ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals grew significantly, enhancing my capacity to build rapport and trust. Additionally, the experience honed my skills in negotiation, active listening, and relationship management, all of which were critical to driving mutual success for both my clients and myself. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set that not only boosts my performance but also contributes to the long-term success of any organization I am a part of.

In addition to my academic endeavors and professional experience, gaming serves as an important aspect of my personal enrichment. While often considered a negative habit for some, I find it to be both relaxing and productive in my case. Gaming allows me to connect with a wide variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences. These interactions provide valuable insights that inspire and shape my future ideas. Furthermore, I have successfully turned this passion into a supplementary source of income by assisting others with their gaming needs. It offers the ideal blend of enjoyment, networking, and financial gain.

Singing is another one of my hobbies, and I find it to be a deeply relaxing and fulfilling activity. Although I have not had formal training, I make a point of following online tutorials whenever I have the time. The gradual improvement in my singing skills provides me with a strong sense of accomplishment, making the process both enjoyable and rewarding.

Finally, I have a passion for capturing specific moments that can only be seen at specific times of the day. I have a deep affection for sunsets and I find them to be some of the most stunning and healing scenes I have ever encountered. Every time I witness a sunset, I make it a point to photograph it and store it on my phone in the hopes of sharing these beautiful moments with others in the future.

My Goals

I have presented myself with two potential paths: the first is to explore a career in insurance, which would allow me to gain valuable experience and assess my progress during my diploma studies. The second is to continue furthering my education. My decision to pursue business studies stems from both a genuine interest in the field and a desire to support my mother by either alleviating her workload or assisting in the expansion of her business. Regardless of the choice I make, I am fully committed to taking responsibility for my future and embracing my decision without regret.
